                                     Year in Review

The chapter's leadership had a busy year, an exciting one for the APA WA. The board of directors met in March, June, October, and December - about 12 hours of meetings. The executive committee of the board, which includes the chapter officers and section presidents, meets more frequently for timely oversight of the chapter's work: a few days before each board meeting and in each of the months that the full board didn't meet.

Chapter Board Adopts 2023 Budget

Your chapter's board of directors met on December 9 to consider and adopt a chapter budget for 2023. Overall, our finances are solid. The balance sheet stayed roughly steady during 2020 and 2021 and revenues outpaced expenditures in 2022.

Doug Pineo was employed by the Washington State Department of Ecology in the Eastern Regional Office of Spokane as an Environmental Specialist for the Shorelines Management Program, serving all of Eastern Washington's local jurisdictions.
