APA Divisions

APA offers 25 divisions that offer planners the opportunity to join with, and learn from, a community with shared interests. The Washington Chapter is reaching out to Division members in Washington to help form local groups to address your interests: professional development and continuing education; contributions to national (and chapter) policy work; networking and leadership opportunities; scholarships; grants/fellowships; and awards. See this page for what Washington Division members are doing.

The 21 divisions include the following. Several other groups are also forming and expect to be full-fledged divisions in the future (e.g., indigenous planners).
