Policy guides provide APA’s positions on matters of principle to inform planning advocates and also offer best practices and inspiration for practicing planners to use in their work. Planning Survey What to you is the value of planning? APA has launched an anonymous, all-member survey to learn how planners like you perceive your role in your community, the impact of your work, and your experiences working with local elected and appointed officials. This survey is part of a first-of-its-kind research initiative from APA and your responses will help shape much of APA National's approach to improving how we communicate the value of planning.
