Planning Survey

What to you is the value of planning? APA has launched an anonymous, all-member survey to learn how planners like you perceive your role in your community, the impact of your work, and your experiences working with local elected and appointed officials. This survey is part of a first-of-its-kind research initiative from APA and your responses will help shape much of APA National's approach to improving how we communicate the value of planning.

Whether you're from a small town or a big city, or your community or state is generally supportive or hostile to the planning profession, we need you to share your insights and ensure planners from communities of all kinds are represented. Take 20 minutes to make your voice heard before the survey closes on May 13.

Please note: This survey is meant for APA members only. Because platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn are visible beyond our membership, please refrain from posting this link on social media. Closed Facebook groups of APA members are acceptable places to share.

The survey will remain open until Friday, May 13.

By completing this anonymous survey with candid insight into your experience working with local officials, as well as your views on the role of planning in the communities you support, you can help us begin to "Reframe the Voice of Planning."
