Let's Plant Some Trees

The Southwest Section of the APA WA Chapter partnered with several other groups of volunteers to participate in a wetland/tree planting with the Watershed Alliance of Southwest Washington.

Did You Receive Yours? 

Thanks to all who participated in the 2022 Student Scholarship Auction at the Fall conference in Vancouver! If you contributed an item, donated more than $50 to the Raise the Paddle event, or paid over the stated cost of the item and have not yet received the appropriate IRS paperwork, please let us know. Send your questions about your gift to: [email protected], with “2022 Scholarship Auction Tax Receipt” in the subject line. 

Some of the event bookkeeping got confused and if you didn’t hear what you expected from the Auction Committee, or the information was incorrect, please let us know!  

 

            AICP and Professional Development News

Exam Prep: Interested in taking the AICP Exam this year? The Chapter will be offering two events to help you get ready.

AICP Exam Prep Introduction - April 21, 2023 | 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
This virtual session will provide a large amount of information you should know prior to taking the exam and will offer insights from a recent successful exam taker! 

Cost = Free! 

AICP Exam Prep Session – TBD (likely a Saturday in September)This in-person event will be more intensive and comprehensive. Sessions will focus on a range of topics addressed in the exam and will be taught by AICP planners who are subject matter experts. More information to come.

Cost = minimal.
