Let's Plant Some Trees

The Southwest Section of the APA WA Chapter partnered with several other groups of volunteers to participate in a wetland/tree planting with the Watershed Alliance of Southwest Washington.

The Southwest Section works with local non-profits throughout the year for their Urban Activism series. This volunteer event was in Ridgefield, WA where volunteers planted more than 2,000 tree clippings in local wetland habitat. Volunteers waded through the wetlands, planting native species including willow, red alder, and dogwood.
