Join the 2025 APA Student Design Competition as a Volunteer Judge

The Student Representatives Council (SRC) is gearing up for the 2025 Student Design Competition, which will take place at the APA National Conference in Denver. This exciting annual event invites students to tackle real-world planning issues, challenging them to come up with creative, innovative solutions to today’s urban challenges.

This year’s prompt is designed to push participants to think critically about the future of our communities. Full competition details are available on the Student Planning and Design Competition page.

To make this competition a success, we need the help of young and emerging planning professionals. If you’ve graduated recently or have less than five years of experience, we’re inviting you to volunteer as a judge. It’s a great way to give back to the field, engage with new talent, and gain fresh insights on the issues shaping our cities.

If this sounds like something you’d like to be part of, reach out to Beneetta Mary Jose at [email protected] by November 16th. Your time and expertise could make a big difference, and we’d love to have you join us!
