AICP/Certificate Maintenance News
The application deadline for the May 2015 AICP exam closed on December 30. More important dates:
2015 ASC Exams Planners interested in taking the Advanced Environmental, Transportation, or Urban Design Specialty Exam (ASC) have until Jan. 27, 2015, to submit their application. The testing window for that exam is May 4 to 18. Chapter Reduced AICP Exam Fee Scholarships APA Washington is again able to offer a scholarship for up to three individuals applying to sit for the 2015 exams. Scholarship recipients will receive the reduced rate of $145 (combined $70 application and $75 exam fee), and previously approved AICP applicants will receive the rate of $75 (exam fee only). Scholarship applications must be submitted by Jan. 28. AICP Exam Prep Session – Coming SOON! Planning to take the AICP Exam this May? Don’t be unprepared! The annual chapter AICP Exam Prep Study Session will be held again this March (or very early April). It will be an all-day (Saturday) event held in the Seattle area. Watch the Professional Development/AICP page of the chapter website and newsletter for updates! Behind in Submitting Your 2013-2014 CM Credits? Fear not! You may have missed the Dec. 30 CM deadline, but you still have until April 30 to get all 32 credits logged. If you are still missing a few credits, check the Professional Development page for more information on training available to Washington planners.
