Learn How To Plan for Wildfires in Your Community!

Unique training opportunity this November! An Introduction to Land Use Planning for Wildfires in Washington are new trainings being offered by the Community Wildfire Planning Center in collaboration with the WA Department of Natural Resources, WA Department of Commerce, and other state and local agencies. Trainings are free, all-day, and in-person. They are designed for planners, fire officials, and others engaged in wildfire mitigation activities in the wildland-urban interface. Spaces are still available in Spokane on November 6, 2025. Travel stipends may also be available to those that need funding assistance to attend.
