CM Grace Period Deadline – EXTENDED to May 31, 2016
Many members have been experiencing frustration with APA’s new CM log-in system. For this reason, the 2014-2015 Grace Period has been extended a month to allow more time for APA to address some of the technical problems. Rest assured, APA is ramping up efforts to fix the problems – try to be patient, and check back periodically.

There are still training options available if you need to take a few more CMs. Here are some ideas:

  • Check out what’s happening in the Chapter:
  • APA also offers streaming media education products at - Many 2015 NPC sessions: Content-Neutral Sign Regulation After Reed v. Gilbert, and other products approved for CM ethics: Ethics Case of the Year and Health Equity and Planning Ethics; CM law: Hot Topics in Housing Law, and Planning Law Review (2014, 2013, or earlier).
  • Find a listing of free CM credits that are offered through distance education products at Opportunities are added as they become available, so please check back frequently for the most current information.
  • Use the self-reporting tool that enables members to record up to eight credits within each two-year reporting period for activities that meet CM criteria but aren’t registered by a provider. Click on the “Add Self-reported credits” button located on your CM log at to access this tool.

If you have taken the training you need and just need to submit credits, cross your fingers and click here to record your learning. Be patient!
