President’s Corner: Celebrating Conference Season

October is one of our Chapter’s busiest and most exciting months as we gather for our signature event: the 2026 Conference in Vancouver, October 7-9. I’m looking forward to connecting with many of you in person, learning from outstanding sessions and mobile workshops, supporting the student scholarship fund through the annual silent auction, and generally “leveling up” alongside planners from across Washington.

Reminder: Annual Meeting and Vote on Proposed Bylaw Amendments

Before the conference concludes, please join us for breakfast and our Annual Meeting on Friday, October 9, from 8-9 a.m. in Heritage Ballroom ABEF at the Hilton Vancouver Washington. We'll share highlights from the past year and vote on proposed Chapter bylaw amendments. To learn more, review:

Help Shape our 2028 Conference Plans

The APA National Planning Conference will be in Seattle on April 1 to 4, 2028. While that may seem a long way off, we're already exploring how best to serve our members and whether to hold our traditional Chapter conference that year.
