AICP Job Analysis Survey Now Open

APA is launching the AICP Job Analysis, a comprehensive research effort to ensure its programs, credentials, and resources reflect today’s planning profession. Planner input is critical, as the findings will serve as the definitive, evidence-based reference on planning practice and directly inform updates to the AICP Certified Planner exam.

Planners are invited to complete a survey identifying the key tasks and knowledge areas central to contemporary practice—helping shape what future planners will need to know to become certified.

Takes approximately 20–30 minutes and can be completed in multiple sessions
Responses are confidential
Results will be summarized and shared with the AICP Job Analysis Task Force
