Apply for the AICP Exam Scholarship!

Don't miss out on applying for the AICP Exam Reduced Fee Diversity Scholarship!  APA defines Diversity as an inclusive concept that encompasses, but is not limited to, race, ethnicity, class, gender, age, sexuality, ability, educational attainment, spiritual beliefs, creed, culture, tribal affiliation, nationality, financial status, immigration status, political beliefs, or veteran status, etc.

APA National will grant 50 scholarships for AICP Certification to apply during the fall 2023 cycle. Potential recipients can choose if they would like to use the scholarship for the exam or the assessment phases of the application.  If selected, applicants will pay only the scholarship fee of $85 instead of the regular $255 fee.

Things to know about the scholarship:

• The application window is open from July 5, 2023, to August 31, 2023. 
• To apply, fill out the online form. 
• 50 scholarships will be awarded through a lottery system.  Applicants can choose to receive the scholarship for the exam or assessment (not both).
• Scholarships cannot be transferred to a future cycle, but recipients can re-apply.
• Members who do not receive a scholarship, or members who passed the exam and would like to receive an additional scholarship for the assessment, can apply again in any future window.

IMPORTANT - APA has changed how these scholarships are granted and the process is no longer directed at the Chapter level.  So APA-WA can better understand how well this lottery system is working for our members, once you have applied, please let us know by sending an email to [email protected], Attention: Professional Development Officer.   

We will have the opportunity to provide feedback to APA National and will want to know what members think about the process.

It’s time to start thinking about taking that next professional step!  Here are the important dates for the upcoming Fall AICP Exam:
