Application Period Now is Open for the APA College of Fellows

If you’ve been considering applying for election to the AICP College of Fellows, now is the time to let us know. Election to the College of Fellows is one of the highest honors that the American Institute of Certified Planners bestows upon a member. This honor recognizes the achievements of the professional who has made significant contributions to society and the field of planning. The WA APA application process for nomination by the Chapter is now open. 

Please submit the completed Statement of Interest form by April 1 if you would like to be considered for nomination. Email the completed form to Nominating Committee Co-chairs Leonard Bauer and Karen Wolf.

If you’ve been a member in good-standing for at least 10 years, have made an outstanding contribution to the profession, and are currently a member of the APA Washington Chapter we want to hear from you.  If you are selected by the WA APA College of Fellows Nominating Committee to advance, we will assign a mentor to work with you throughout the nomination process.

We recommend that you carefully review the schedule on the Statement of Interest form.  We expect you to submit the first draft of your nomination packet by July 15. This is a substantial amount of work requiring a significant time commitment on part of the applicant.  We request that you submit the form only if you can commit to meeting all deadlines.
