Gabby says, “I am interested in building this business to sustain itself long beyond me. We want to focus on Seattle, but Snohomish and Pierce counties are growing faster in some of our markets than the Seattle area. At our new location we will be well positioned to help our clients with more room, and an easy location right off of Interstate 5.” Current projects include a redesign of an office/retail mixed-use building, numerous tenant improvements, three church projects, a rehabilitation center, a Christian school, medical/dental offices, a subdivision for seven custom residences, and three senior living facilities. Gabbert, a member of the AICP, as well as an architect, developed the first Major Institution Master Plan for Seattle Pacific University’s campus and the design of the library and the Brougham Pavilion expansion. He also helped develop the early master plan for the 55-acre Crista Ministries campus with over 25 buildings. He has designed assisted living and skilled nursing facilities on the campus. As a planner, Gabbert has completed numerous rezones, condition use permits, variances, subdivisions, and provided client advocacy on land use issues. As an architect he helped design the Everett Mall Office Park and many office and industrial buildings in the Puget Sound region. Over the years, Gabby has travelled to Mexico to help design and build facilities for the underprivileged, to Peru to build a clinic for three remote villages, and to Caserta, Italy to design a church. As part of his new growth, Gabby recently brought on new professionals including Adam Kushabi, AIA as the Project Management Director and Senior Associate.
