About the Speakers
 
        Jillian Nameth Zeiger, AICP

Senior Planner, County of Marin

Jillian is a Senior Planner in the Marin County Community Development Agency. She has years of experience in Planning and Landscape Architecture. Prior to joining Marin County staff, she was a consultant working on large-scale planning and landscape projects throughout California. She has a dual MCP/MLA in Landscape Architecture and City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS from Northwestern University.

Alex Seinberger, AICP

Urban Planner, Cascadia Partners

Alex is an urban planner and economist with a strong foundation in geographic information systems (GIS). His experience in scenario planning and housing policy allows him to fulfill a broad range of project needs from visioning and facilitation to redevelopment analysis. Alex's work focuses on housing capacity analysis, long-range planning, and economic modeling. He has experience working at a range of scales, from site-specific redevelopment projects to regional visioning efforts. Past projects include a redevelopment feasibility analysis for a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) corridor in San Antonio, Texas, and a station area development strategy for a planned high-capacity transit line in Portland, Oregon.

Shane Hope, AICP

Principal, Plan Hope

Shane Hope is the principal of Plan Hope, a consulting firm. Shane is also the former planning and development director for the cities of Edmonds and Mountlake Terrace. Before that, she was the managing director of the state's Growth Management Services and has served in various state, regional, and local planning and community development programs. Most recently, in a one-year position as a policy specialist, she helped the state Department of Commerce provide guidance on housing issues, including the implementation of new state housing requirements. Shane has a master's degree in urban planning and a certificate in urban design from the University of Washington.
