Social Events Galore

The APA-WA Southwest Section is planning two social events the evening of October 11, the first night of the conference. For the traditionalists, a pub crawl will hit the hot spots in downtown, just a short walk from the Hilton. At the same time, a wine tasting stroll will head to the Waterfront to sample from any of nine wine-tasting rooms.

The Opening Reception for the Conference will be held on Wednesday night at the Hilton and will feature food, a cash bar (after two complimentary drink tickets), live music, and an auction to benefit APA-WA’s Scholarship Fund, which assists several Washington planning students each year.

Finally, for the early risers, rumor has it that a morning fun run along the Waterfront trail is in the works.
