Community Planning Assistance for Wildfire Training

This interactive training is a must for anyone who wants a better understanding of the trends and risks associated with development in wildfire-prone areas and the role that planning can play in wildfire mitigation.

This training will be held on August 9th, 2016 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM at the Civic Center of Great Falls, MT

This wildfire training offers an in-depth view of wildfires' potential impact on community development, and which planning and regulatory tools are best suited to reduce risk at different scales. Case studies will draw on several western jurisdictions, and highlight tools, methods and strategies to integrate wildfire into the comprehensive plan and development code.

CM credit will be available for this and all sessions. Registration for the wildfire training is $100.
