APA-Washington Chapter and Sections Elections Are “Just Around the Corner”Steve Butler, FAICP The American Planning Association-Washington Chapter (APA-WA) and several of its Sections have candidates running for several important positions. Online ballots will be available on August 5, with the last day of voting being September 8. Even though those dates may seem so far off into the future, the APA-WA Nominations Committee wanted to give you an early look at who will be running for which positions. State Chapter At the state chapter level, there are two candidates for the office of President-Elect, who are:
This position entails a four-year commitment as follows: one year as President-Elect; two years as President; and the final year as Immediate Past President. The incoming President-Elect will take office on November 1, 2016.
