Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of Community and Economic Development, the Planning and Development Services Manager is responsible for organizing, coordinating, evaluating, and managing the internal operations of the department which includes the Building/Fire Division, Long Range Planning Division, Economic Development, and Current Planning Division. This position is also responsible for a wide range of department level administrative and technical program activities and complex projects which may span across the department divisions. Provides direct supervision to the Building Official, Planning Manager, Economic Development Coordinator, and all positions assigned to the Current Planning Division. 

Job Duties:

This position is responsible for oversight of permitting complaints and disputes, department employee or labor relations matters, and providing operational direction, motivation, and mentoring to department staff. This position may occasionally act as the Director of Community and Economic Development.
