Employer: Kittitas County Job Description: The current vacancy in Community Development Services is a full-time, benefited, non-union, non-exempt position expected to begin as soon as possible. This position primarily conducts research, develops reports, and leads updates and amendments to the County’s Comprehensive Plan and implementing regulations. Job Duties: Primary Responsibility - Develop, update, and implement the County's Comprehensive Plan, Shoreline Master Program, and development regulations. Kittitas County Community Development Services is made up of approximately 20 employees focusing on planning, permitting, development review, code enforcement, and fire marshal services. There are also the two-time reigning champions of the annual Halloween office decorations competition.
